Cosmetic Bonding at Streitz Dental
Bonding involves the addition of a tooth-colored filling material (called a composite) to esthetically recontour the tooth. This is a minimally-invasive procedure and involves little or no removal of natural tooth structure. Bonding can also be used to correct deeper discolored areas on your teeth that cleaning cannot remove. Correction of ‘white spot’ lesions or white areas can also be restored with composite bonding.
In our office, we use a material called Filtek Ultimate® that blends naturally with your teeth. There are literally hundreds of choices when it comes to choosing a composite material, and after much research, we have found this specific material to be the leader in esthetics and longevity.
